Contract Stage Manager

The incumbent will be responsible for the following job tasks:

- Supervise the operation of the new Whiskers Theatre show which will open in Jan 2024

- Create show cue scripts and call show cues as Stage Manager at the new Whiskers Theatre show and other special events

- Lead a team of stage crew / event assistant to operate the new Whiskers Theatre show

- Liaise with director(s), choreographer(s), designer(s),performer(s), technician(s) and other parties that may be involve in the show

- Coordinate show maintenance activities such as brush-up rehearsals, lighting and audio calls etc

- Support the operation needs for theatre and other in-park venue bookings

- Support special events for Park Entertainment from concept development to the implementation stage

- Performing other duties and tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

- With minimum of 3 years working experience as Stage Manager for theatrical performance or in related industry
- Familiar with Ocean Park festive events is preferred
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Supervisory background and able to lead a team
- Have strong adaptability and able to work irregular hours at weekends and public holidays if required
- Have knowledge of digital and computer software including QLab, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
