Executive Director

A renowned local NGO is looking for a high calibre management person to fill the vacancy of Executive Director.
Reporting to the Executive Committee, leading a group of about 50 staff members and over 250 volunteers, the Executive Director will be responsible for contributing to the setting of the organization's strategic direction, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. Responsibilities :

• Define and lead the execution of objectives, goals, and strategies, ensuring effective governance of the organization.
  
• Develop new services to meet the ever changing service demand.
  
• Responsible for financial management, budget planning, and general operations - monitor and manage grants and programs and ensure their delivery to meet the requirements of the funding bodies.
  
• Provide the Executive Committee with timely and detailed reporting and recommendations, effectively evaluate and manage internal and external risks.
  
• Manage partnerships (internal and external), identify challenges and opportunities;
  manage relationships tofoster growth of the organization and the well being of its service users.
  
• Lead, manage, recruit, train and evaluate a team of diverse individuals, ensuring the correct allocation of responsibilities, objectives, and growth.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree holder, a master degree is an advantage.
  
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5+ years of people management and leadership experience.
  
• The ideal candidate should have some not-for-profit work experience and proven track record in applying for funding from the government and various funding bodies. Experience in the service of suicide prevention is an advantage.
  
• Strong financial acumen and project management knowledge.
  
• A strong and confident public speaker with excellent relationship management skills. Experience in organizing PR and fundraising events and in social media marketing is preferred.
  
• Strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills, be empathetically strong and highly committed in serving the community.
