The appointee will be responsible for (a) leading and supervising a team to provide a full spectrum of office administration functions;
(b) supporting staff development;
(c) implementing HR rules and regulations;
(d) managing the budgetand accounting operations of the Department;
(e) liaising with internal and external parties on the facilities management of the Department;
(f) providing independent administrative support for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and handling assessment and grade reporting matters;
(g) providing secretarial support for meetings;
and (h) performing other tasks as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree;
(ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website :

(iii) at least 8 years of post-qualification executive experience;
(iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
(v) a strong sense of responsibility;
(vi) an effective, intelligent, energetic, resourceful, and forward-looking work attitude;
(vii) personal integrity, sincerity, and good team spirit at work;
(viii) strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a good level of IT skills;
(ix) the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision;
and (x) a good sense oftact in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
