Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of employees in the areas of IT operations, security, and infrastructure.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and presentations to individuals and groups, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
- Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, exercises, and assessments, to support training programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs, determine learning objectives, and develop relevant content.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training materials are current and relevant.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make necessary improvements.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning and address individual training needs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of e-learning modules and online training resources.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular follow-up sessions and refresher training to reinforce learning and promote knowledge retention.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments to continuously enhance your own technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Trainer or similar role, with a solid understanding of IT operations, security, and infrastructure concepts.
- Strong knowledge of different technologies, systems, and procedures commonly used in IT environments.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Experience in creating training materials using various tools and software, such as PowerPoint, e-learning authoring tools, and learning management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs and develop targeted solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
