- Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for bags and other accessories, aligned with company procurement objectives, to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for bags and accessories, conducting comprehensive assessments of their capabilities, quality standards, and cost competitiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing performance, and resolving any supplier-related issues.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as design, production, and quality assurance teams, to understand their sourcing requirements and ensure timely delivery of bags and accessories.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier innovation.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, tracking key metrics, and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
- Maintain an effective supplier database, including supplier qualification, performance history, and risk assessment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing and merchandising with solid product development knowledge.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
