Purpose
- Lead the oversight and management of projects, emphasizing evaluation and benefits realization, resource management, and governance best practices.

Accountability:
Evaluation and Benefits:
- Develop and implement robust processes to evaluate project proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and potential benefits.
- Collaborate with project teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurement criteria for assessing project success and benefits realization.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions to ensure projects meet intended outcomes.
Resource Management:
- Lead resource allocation efforts across projects, optimizing personnel, budget, and equipment allocation.
- Monitor resource capacity and availability, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and recommending adjustments to project plans.
- Establish and maintain resource management strategies that promote efficient workload distribution, backup arrangement and promote cross-skilling.
Governance and Best Practices:
- Define and enforce consistent project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects.
- Ensure projects adhere to established governance frameworks, compliance standards, and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular project audits to assess adherence to established practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- PMP certification or equivalent (PRINCE2, AGILEPM) is essential, other certification (e.G. ITIL, AGILE, COBIT, LEAN) is an advantage.
- Strong experience in project evaluation, benefits realization, resource management, and governance.
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in IT project management with minimum of 3 years in PMO operations
- In-depth understanding of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and their practical application.
- Proficiency in project evaluation techniques, such as cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculation, and risk assessment.
- Expertise in resource management principles, including capacity planning, resource levelling, and allocation optimization.
- Thorough knowledge of governance frameworks, compliance standards, and industry regulations relevant to project management.
- Strategic Thinking:
Ability to align project objectives with overall organizational strategy and drive projects towards desired outcomes. - Leadership:
Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and inspire project teams to achieve high-performance results. - Decision-making:
