Our client is an international asset management house renowned for its diversified investment management services and products to high net worth individuals, financial intermediaries and institutional clients. They are now seeking for top calibre candidates to join them in Hong Kong.
Undertake stock research for the equity markets focus on Hong Kong & China Consumer Sector. Maintain a thorough understanding of the investment philosophy and process. Comply with this philiosophy and process at all times and to be proactive in suggesting improvements to the process. Maintain a thorough knowledge of basic investment theory and the quantitative tools. Analysis of the qualitative factors relevant to a company. Security analysis, analysis of cash flows, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, DCF etc. Macro economic analysis, maintain a detailed knowledge of the corresponding, economic and financial trends and their impacts on markets, sectors and stock models. Portfolio Construction, construct sensible stock models that blend with the investment themes and philosophy. Visit assigned companies and to produce detailed research reports to the required standard. To produce ongoing research reports. Contribute fully to the discussion in stock meetings and work as a member of the investment team ensure performance objectives are met. Add value in your universe of stocks by making recommendations to purchase/sell stocks and adopt a certain country allocation stance.
To be qualified, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience covering Hong Kong and China consumer sector. Sound analytical skills with sound communications skills. Excellent in English and Chinese.
