Senior Gardener

The incumbent will support the Tree Team Supervisors to carry out Landscape strategy, especially but not limited to Tree Maintenance works, assigned by Department Managers. He/she will assist the team lead in monitoring frontline staff to ensure works deliver in proper manner and on schedule, including Tree Pruning, removal, pesticide control, and routine checkup. He/she may strategically assign to support different teams on park landscape operations during park event and enhancement in show value, under the Manpower Allocation by Landscaping Head Office.

Requirements

• With 5 years hands-on experience in Tree Works, Arboriculture is required
• With at least 3-year experience in supervisory role and work effectively with others
• Solid Experienced in Chainsaw and Gardening Machinery Operation and skills in fixing gardening tools
• Comprehensive knowledge in Tree inspection and Tree management preferable.
• Good communication skills, coordination work within team, and among departments
• Report to work in early morning, work on weekends and public holidays, physically fit to work outdoor
• Valid type II Hong Kong Driving License preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Landscaping Supervisor (Tree Works)
