Service Director Day Creches

Established in 1926, Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC) now operates 28 services units with about 700 employees, providing care, education and development support to approximately 3,000 children daily. HKSPC is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our children. All applicants must be willing to undergo sexual conviction record check, background checks and child safeguarding screening. Key Responsibilities :

• Review and enhance service quality of Day Crèches and parent support services, to meet the needs of service users according to Society's strategies and plans.
  
• Assist in formulating and implementing related policies, strategic plans and innovation in serving children under 3 years old, including service marketing, administration and liaison with government departments and funding bodies.
  
• Lead continuous professional development, research and process-reengineering projects to address changing service needs for efficiency, effectiveness, accountability and sustainability.
  
• Handle correspondence and inquiries on service quality, complaints, and requests by external parties, etc.

Incumbent Requirements :

• Degree holder or above in Social Work / Early Childhood Education or related disciplines.
  
• At least 10 years relevant working experience in Early Childhood Education / educare services with a minimum of 5 years of senior management position.
  
• Excellent leadership, staff management, interpersonal and team building skill.
  
• Have strategic thinking and good planning, organizing and problem solving skills.
  
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
