  • As part of one of our cross-disciplinary teams of engineers you'll use your knowledge and expertise in a variety of methodologies and tool-sets to develop innovative end user solutions to meet customer needs

  • Develop and adopt exciting new technologies and become an active member of Communities of Practice, Engineering guilds and working groups across the bank

  • Utilise new and innovative technologies whilst also harnessing and maintaining existing systems that are currently the engine room of our platform


  • Hands-on experience as a Software Engineer in JavaScript (Node.Js and React.Js)

  • RESTful APIs and microservices and other modern web technologies

  • Exposure to full-stack experience and flexibility to work on front end or back-end tasks

  • Experience building well tested applications that remain easy to maintain as the codebase and business continues to scale

  • Proven experience in software is built in a way that is consistent with the standards, frameworks, patterns, and practices that exist across the wider engineering community

  • Understand GIT, source code management and managing change
