- Manage and oversee the operations of our fleet of ships, including vessel scheduling, voyage planning, and coordination with ship captains and crews.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor and manage bunker procurement and consumption, optimizing fuel efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, agents, and port authorities to ensure timely and efficient port calls, bunkering, and cargo operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as chartering, finance, and procurement, to support operational requirements.
- Monitor vessel performance, maintenance, and repairs, coordinating with technical teams to address any issues or breakdowns promptly.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports, performance metrics, and financial data related to fleet operations.
- Implement and maintain safety management systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or a related field.
- Proven experience in dry bulk management within the maritime industry, with a strong understanding of vessel operations, bunker management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and be available for on-call duties as required by the nature of fleet operations.
